In an interview with AIPT, the author of Undeadpool #1 talked about the genesis of the Alpha Warriors idea, which he finally got to bring to life alongside artist Carlos Magno. What is striking about the use of the Alpha Warriors in the story is how seamlessly they fit into the larger concept of the crossover. The team were the breakout stars of Undeadpool #1, even though only one of the four, Fearless, made it out of the issue alive.
