The Winds of Mysterious Fortune lasts right up until the raid launches, so you have plenty of time to get your characters raid ready — or catch up on older factions on your main. Add that to Warband Mentored Leveling, which grants you an extra 5% experience to per character you have that hits level 80 — capping out at 25% increase with your fifth character when you gain the achievement Five Warband Mentors: The War Within — and you may wind up with a 65% boost to your earned XP during the first week of August. You may want to put aside any alt you wish to power level during this event, as they can accumulate rested bonus for an extra 200%, and if you have a full set of heirlooms for characters under 70, will have extended duration.
