With Conquest already established and the Viltrumites looming, the teaser’s function is to clear the runway for Thragg’s full entrance and to mark March 2026 as the moment the conflict accelerates. He portrayed Brother Day in Foundation, Elvenking Thranduil in The Hobbit trilogy, and Ronan the Accuser in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and Captain Marvel (2019), and led AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire as Joe MacMillan.
