To stem the spread of the jihadists to the South-West, whose states share borders with Kwara, The PUNCH urges President Bola Tinubu and the security chiefs to launch a major military operation to flush out the terrorists from their forest hideouts in Kwara, Niger and Kogi states. In partnership with the United States, the Tinubu government should frontally launch offensives against the jihadists, using intelligence correctly and cutting off the supply of weapons and money to starve them. After that, the military operations should move to the North-East, particularly the Sambisa Forest and the other forests in the North-West.
