Technically, Siouxsie and the Banshees’ first drummer was Sid Vicious, who played one gig with the band in 1976, prior to becoming a member of the Sex Pistols. Morris played on the band’s first two albums, 1978’s The Scream and 1979’s Join Hands, before he and guitarist John McKay quit the group in September 1979 following an argument among band members during an in-store record signing.
