Fox News host Howard Kurtz joined with the media chorus Sunday claiming that President Donald Trump walked away from the Alaska summit with Vladimir Putin without much to show for it. Kurtz asked guest Rich Lowry with National Review if it was a “setback” for Trump, since “the coverage was heavily negative, even from some of those that ordinarily support the president.” “The media coverage always tends to be, ‘This is stupid and doomed to fail,’ and often, there’s a method to the madness and Trump ends up getting to where he wants to go,” he said.
