The project is co-created by Sons of Anarchy mastermind Kurt Sutter and Chris Collins, a writer and producer whose credits include John Wick: Chapter 3, The Wire, and The Man in the High Castle. Momoa recently starred in Minecraft: The Movie, a surprise hit for Warner Bros. that pulled in nearly $1 billion worldwide, and he’ll return to the high-octane world of Fast X: Part Two, and he’s taking on the role of Lobo in DC Studios’ Supergirl. While he never got to explore the backstory of Sons of Anarchy founder John Teller, this series blends his signature outlaw storytelling with the raw, emotional intensity of New Zealand’s crime world.
