Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Yariv Levin have leapt gleefully on the investigation into Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi. The minister responsible for the legal system, who has been hostile to it for years, found another opportunity to retroactively justify his judicial overhaul, which had been halted by the war, and to restart it. And Netanyahu, the criminal defendant, saw another opportunity to lock horns with the legal system, while winking at his base.
