A media tent outside Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis was struck by an airstrike at 2am which killed a reporter for the Palestine Today TV station, Yousef al-Faqawi, and another man, according to the hospital. Six reporters were also wounded in the air strike, which the Israeli military claimed struck a Hamas militant without providing further information, the Associated Press have said. Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip is expanding to seize “large areas,” according to defence minister Israel Katz and the country has barred the import of food, fuel, medicine and humanitarian aid since the beginning of March.
