I Am No One, and That's Changed Everything


According to Hayes et al. (2012), psychological flexibility is the ability to stay present, adapt to changing situations, and act in ways that align with your values without being rigidly attached to thoughts, roles, or identities. And I gave myself permission to feel tired and to doubt myself, but without losing my strength, and questioning my competence. When we stop over-identifying with a single role or label, we can experience life more fully, with less fear of judgment and more willingness to act, create, and connect.
