Iran is a major oil producer, and much of the world's oil and gas is produced in the Middle East. SIMON: The real worry for global oil markets is about where all this fighting is taking place. KWONG: Yeah, it just has me thinking about how so much of the global economy runs on oil and gas and just how vulnerable countries are when those supplies get disrupted.
