It won’t have to be an Odyssean trek to the theaters for Christopher Nolan fans to snag IMAX tickets to his next film, “The Odyssey.” Two years after Nolan’s Best Picture winner “Oppenheimer” left audiences scrambling for IMAX seats in theaters, tickets for “The Odyssey” will go on sale on July 17, 2025, exactly one year before the film is released. “Christopher Nolan’s next film ‘The Odyssey’ is a mythic action epic shot across the world using brand new IMAX film technology,” Universal shared in a post on X announcing the film in December. “The film brings Homer’s foundational saga to IMAX film screens for the first time and opens in theaters everywhere on July 17, 2026.”
