Most exes need professional help to learn a better way to communicate, not to get along better with their co-parent, although that will be the byproduct of changing their approach, but to create a better experience for their child. The key is not to blame; it is to inform them—and for both to do some soul searching: “What can I personally change to make this experience easier on our child?”
