I look at other belief systems and, at least to unlearned me, they often appear to have some lens through which to evaluate situations that are not just (full disclosure, I have I-P in mind when writing this) and to justify taking action to fix them. With Buddhism, what I've seen so far (i.e. in my reading of Intro to Buddhism primers and looking at online spaces) is really focused on how suffering is primarily a matter of perspective, or just leaving off at the point of acknowledging that all sides in a conflict may have potential, equally weighted grievances. Does it boil down to an "all suffering is illusory" kind of perspective, or are there ways that Buddhists can actively take on and address humanity's various conflicts (both in a philosophical sense and in a direct action sort of way)?
