Holocaust survivor IDed as man, 80, killed in Maserati hit-and-run while walking his dog

The man who was ruthlessly mowed down by a Maserati driver as he walked his dog through Sherman Oaks Tuesday survived the Holocaust and the Ukrainian war, his family said. “My father was a Holocaust survivor … He survived the Holocaust, he survived the Ukrainian war and then he was killed in a peaceful country.” The LAPD would not say whether the car was tied to the case, but had towed the vehicle as part of its investigation.
