In the aftermath of Wednesday’s shooting of two National Guard troops near the White House, War Secretary Pete Hegseth said President Donald Trump has requested the deployment of another 500 Guard members to the nation’s capital. The only question I have is whether they realize that Vance is more in-tune with the reality in Ukraine than Trump, and if they do understand that, then they need to figure out what to do with him. My guess is that the additional troops are due to an appraisal that the attack is Islamic terrorism and that more attacks in DC may be in the offing.
