Harvard Agrees To Turn Over Documents To DHS Proving Citizenship Of Employees

Harvard agreed to turn over employee I-9 forms to the federal government on Tuesday to prove the work eligibility and citizenship of its staff, according to an email sent to faculty. The university will send documents for nearly all employees, barring students, to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) following the department’s probe, Harvard announced in an email obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. Harvard is reportedly closing in on an agreement with the Trump administration following months of turmoil after the federal government revoked over $2 billion in funding from the university when it vowed not to comply with demands to tackle antisemitism.
