Saturday afternoon, just a day after posting his displeasure with the ongoing persecution of Christians in Nigeria, President Trump threatened that country’s government should it fail to protect the religious minority there. Posting on Truth Social, the president stated, “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,’ to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.” In response to that statement, pop star Nicki Minaj expressed her gratitude to Trump for highlighting the plight of Nigerian Christians.
