"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution says, “the United States shall guarantee to every State in the Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic violence.” As long as we are a democratic society, with the ability to vote in many different people with different ideas and that the Constitution is a living vehicle of our laws, is there a specific ideology on how to run our government and not destroy our strength in our ability to grow.
