"What I am gravely concerned about is how Mr. Trump doesn't seem to stay focused long enough on what is going on," Dean said, noting that lawmakers have sent a letter to the president about the state of affairs between Israel and Hamas. Dean said lawmakers told Trump in their letter to ensure Netanyahu was abiding by the peace agreement and to ensure the rebuilding of Gaza takes place in a humanitarian way.
