13-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight, Benoit Saint Denis, will put his ranking on the line against red-hot Spanish standout, Joel Alvarez, at UFC 315 next month (Sat., May 10, 2025) inside Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Saint-Denis (13-3-1) has fallen on tough times, getting brutally finished in his past two appearances against Dustin Poirier at UFC 299 (watch highlights) and then again most recently by Renato Moicano in his first-ever UFC main event. Like “BSD,” Alvarez (22-3) also boasts a 100 percent finish rate, with 17 submissions and five knockouts, and has looked absolutely stellar in his UFC career (other than getting absolutely destroyed by Arman Tsarukyan back in 2022).
