The show has avoided using its ultimate stakes - sucking off one of the ghosts - which is for the best, as the ensemble nature of Ghosts is one of its greatest charms. Patience the Puritan ghost is drawn to the book launch party by an evil presence, and she calls the very concept of a vampire “demonic.” Trevor quips that they are ghosts, so “don’t throw stones” - which could be a throwaway joke, but might lay legitimate groundwork to introduce other types of supernatural creatures to the world of Ghosts.
