Gemma's Family History In Sons Of Anarchy Becomes Even More Tragic Thanks To This Detail

This was a breaking point in Gemma and Clay’s relationship, but in order to get Jax to kill Clay, Gemma burned the letters that implicated her and gave the rest to Jax, making Clay look like the only one responsible for JT’s death. According to some of the rules of motorcycle clubs, Gemma couldn’t be a member of the club, but could party and hang out with them – however, Gemma did a lot more than that in Sons of Anarchy, being a respected figure among SAMCRO members and influencing Clay and Jax’s decisions. Gemma has been considered the real leader of SAMCRO, as well as the representation of the “anarchy” in the club, with all the members representing her “sons.” Ultimately, Gemma’s influence on SAMCRO led to some of the biggest tragedies in her family, including her own death, though it’s hard to say if she could have avoided it had she been honest with Jax about Tara’s death.
