The president said the U.S. would help cover the cost of risk insurance as a way to reassure nervous ship owners, and suggested the U.S. Navy could offer escorts for protection, though it is unclear when that will happen as the Navy is currently busy fighting the war. So all Iran has to do is demonstrate every day, every other day that it has the means and the ability to-- th-- attack ships in the strait, and that will be enough.
