Marine Corps veteran Johnny “Joey” Jones reminded viewers on Sunday’s episode of “The Big Weekend Show” that it’s actually OK for Americans to question the president over the joint U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran — especially when U.S. soldiers are killed. But we’ve been at war for less than 24 hours … What’s different here for me is to understand that these men and women, whoever they are, that died in his counterattack — they didn’t say goodbye to their families contemplating their own mortality, the way a lot of us did for 20 years of going to war. In an eight-minute video posted to Truth Social following the attack Saturday morning, Trump said the objective of the mission was to “to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime” and insisted that Iran “can never have a nuclear weapon.”
