Vault 33 is on the verge of a disastrous drought — one that Reg and his club for inbred Vaulties can circumvent thanks to the rules of the club charter, which guarantees them all the water and snacks they want. As Maximus and Thaddeus flee on foot, carrying the cold fusion relic that Dane stole for them, a firefight that began in the mess hall as the faction leaders fought to impress “Xander” erupts into an all-out battle that crashes one of the massive airships hovering above the Brotherhood’s base. It’s obviously full of monsters and moments torn from the video games to please fans of the franchise, but I haven’t so much as hit start on a single one of those things and I’ve had no trouble making sense or feeling the impact of anything on the show.
