As Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort prepare to erase the original timeline of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disneyland Park is shutting down the popular Oga’s Cantina lounge. Beginning April 29, 2026, half of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort will shift to the timeline of the original trilogy, while the other half will remain set in the sequel trilogy. Additionally, the existing First Order Cargo merchandise location, which currently only sells First Order and Imperial items, will be “a military salvage operation offering artifacts from across the history of the galaxy, including Imperial and Rebel items from the Galactic Civil War.” The Galactic Civil War happened in the original George Lucas film trilogy.
