After the success of his deep south vampire flick Sinners, director Ryan Coogler has confirmed that his next movie will bring him back to Wakanda with the Marvel sequel Black Panther 3. While speaking at a panel over the weekend at Deadline’s Contenders Film: Los Angeles, the two-time Oscar nominee confirmed to the outlet that Black Panther 3 is his “next movie” as he is hard at work completing the MCU trilogy that kicked off with Chadwick Boseman in 2018. Boseman first played the role of T’Challa, appearing in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, followed by the Black Panther feature film in 2018.
