As Mark and his friends continue to mourn the death of Rex and Cecil carries out his attempts to interrogate Conquest in his secret facility, the world will face two new threats, that of Dinosaurus, voiced by Emmy winner Matthew Rhys, and Thragg, one of the more infamous Viltrum villains from the comics, who rules as their Grand Regent. Mark has been put to the test in every prior season of the show, even with smaller antagonists like the Mawler Twins and Battle Beast nearly killing the titular hero as much as Omni-Man and the other Viltrums. Robert Kirkman: I think, after what we saw in season 3 with the Invincible war and with Conquest, this is a guy who has spent so much time worried that he could possibly become his father or become more like his father, and now he might be realizing that he might have to be more like his father just to survive, just to get through this, because of how dire the stakes are with everything that he's doing.
