The Thunderbolts and Stranger Things actor admitted that he wasn’t sure the massive crossover could even work at first, but after seeing the Russos at the helm again, he’s completely on board. “I don't even really understand, but they just know how to do these things… there's something about the layers in which they put the comedy and the drama and the surprises and the scale and the epicness and all that stuff. With the Russos once again orchestrating Marvel’s grand spectacle and a stacked lineup of heroes and anti-heroes, Avengers: Doomsday could deliver the kind of scale and energy fans have been wanting to see since Endgame.
