Darth Revan's Mandalorian Mask Origin Explained

When Darth Revan was still a Jedi Knight, he defied the Jedi Council, amassing a force to fight the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders on behalf of the Republic. Choosing to don the mask in remembrance of the Mandalorian who tried to prevent her people's brutality on the planet Cathar, Revan swore never to take off the mask until the Neo-Crusaders were defeated once and for all. Incorporating it into his armor, this red and grey mask turned Revan into a symbol, one he didn't remove even after he and his apprentice, Darth Malak, were corrupted to the dark side and became Sith Lords, declaring war on the Republic to forge a new Sith Empire.
