“AI is one of the most consequential issues, right now, in the White House,” The Daily Signal’s White House Correspondent Elizabeth Troutman Mitchell said in an interview with former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon. “I think as we move closer to more and more people being replaced by AI, more people are going to wake up and say, ‘Hey, I’m about to lose my job because of AI, and I want the administration, I want Congress, the government to do something about this,’” Mitchell said. “And I think that’s an argument the whole country will be sympathetic to, which is that we’ve seen how kids have been endangered and harmed by social media … and we’re likely to see a similar situation that’s already begun with AI.”
