Classic Aero-TV: Portrait of the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation

Incorporated as a non-profit domestic corporation in June 1997, the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation (AAHF) is a one-of-a-kind, national organization comprising veterans, their families, and civilian supporters individually and collectively dedicated to preserving and presenting the legacy of U.S. Army Aviation. The AAHF aspires to accurately portray the American soldier as an active, accepted, and admired member of the broader American family by presenting the story of Army Aviation and the soldiers by which it is perpetuated. The Foundation’s member Sky Soldiers conduct patriotic flying presentations, public helicopter rides, and educational presentations, thereby honoring the men and women who’ve served in the U.S. military and Army aviation, and affording civilians opportunity to hear veterans’ stories and, by dint of such, better understand the rigors of, reasons for, and nobility inherent military flight.
