The first two episodes of the nine-episode limited miniseries dropped August 1, starring Momoa as the fierce Hawaiian warrior chief Ka‘iana as he wrestles sharks and takes on the whole island himself. A bit of a passion project for the native Hawaiian, Chief of War is a violent and historical account of the island nation of Hawaii at the end of the 18th century. The streamer released the first two episodes August 1, with the remaining seven episodes to air weekly until September 19.
