New Delhi|Kolkata: Missile alerts by night, evacuation flight updates by day — what began as routine business travel to the Gulf has turned into a tense wait for Indian corporate executives stranded in a conflict-hit region.Over the past few days, several chief executives and business heads have been glued to embassy advisories and airspace notifications, hoping for a window of peace to return home.Dabur India’s global chief executive Mohit Malhotra is stuck in Dubai, having gone there for a routine review trip. West Asia accounts for about 7% of the consumer goods company’s annual sales of ₹12,500 crore.Dixon Technologies promoter and executive chairman Sunil Vachani told ET he’s trying to secure a seat on one of the evacuation flights that began operating Tuesday.
