In the ninth round, Cacace landed a flurry of punches ending with a left hook to the chin, driving a badly hurt Wood into the ropes. In the second through the fifth rounds, Davies came back well, using an effective jab, drawing blood from the nose and a welt under Walker’s right eye in the fifth round. In the third round, Noakes landed a right on the chin, and down went Balaz for the count from Referee Chris Dean.
