Luke Shaw teamed with fellow Brother Martin High School student Matt Graffagnini to take the title in the Battle of the Bass Division in the City Park Big Bass Rodeo and Fishtival two years ago. Shaw's giant 6.87-pound largemouth bass taken from the park's lagoons was the star of the day among the grade school and high school teams but didn't beat out Frank Woolley's 7.76-pounder that won the adult division. The 77th Big Bass Rodeo comes up Saturday in New Orleans.
