The Netflix US slate isn’t quite finalized, as today we’ve learned that the recently released music doc Becoming Led Zeppelin will be making its streaming video on demand debut via Netflix, courtesy of the first window deal that the streamer holds with Sony Pictures and its various subsidaries. Released exclusively in IMAX theaters on February 14th, the movie grossed a little over $10.4M in the US alone and $12.8M globally, the 2-hour long doc charts the rise of the iconic band from their post-war childhoods and 1960s music scene beginnings to their explosive success in 1969, using unseen concert footage and personal archives, with narration by the surviving members and archival interviews from the late John Bonham. On the Sony Pictures side, Paddington in Peru is the latest movie to land on the streamer with other 2025 releases set to include Until Dawn a little later in the year alongside the new Karate Kid: Legends movie and more.
