Avengers: Doomsday is about to shake up the MCU in a major way, but it's also overwriting some important stories to come out of the Multiverse Saga, with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier suffering the worst fate. Both to the people of the world who grew up hearing stories about the war hero, and to the audiences who fell in love with Chris Evans' performance as the iconic hero who led the Avengers into victory several times over. Unfortunately, this also seems to walk back on the progress made in Sam Wilson's story, and could see the world reject the new Captain America when they see the original return, effectively erasing any developments made in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ahead of Avengers: Doomsday's release.
