They had to wait till the 51st minute for Amad Diallo to break the deadlock with his second goal in two games for Ivory Coast, a sweet strike curled inside the post. The ball went one way, the goalkeeper the other, and it was enough for the Fennec Foxes to advance to the knockout stage with a maximum six points in Group E.
