In leaving Texier in the lineup on Sunday, the Blues rolled with the same group that beat the Jets 7-2 in Game 3. Texier picked up a secondary assist on Tyler Tucker’s goal in the second period, doing the dirty work by keeping the puck in the zone with a cross-corner dump, then winning a wall battle to shuffle the puck back up to the point for Nick Leddy. Maroon scored one of the most impactful goals during the run, a double-overtime winner in Game 7 against the Stars in the second round.
