Dupli-Kate is the kind of character who could benefit from the Invincible series going in a different direction from the comics; Robert Kirkman could deliver a more memorable arc, and greater character growth, for Kate, which could prove to be a satisfying swerve on the source material for fans who think they have her figured out. The Invincible TV series is a chance to chart a less fatalistic course for Kid Omni-Man, perhaps letting him live in order to leave the door open for a spin-off or sequel series, if the character proves as popular with TV viewers as with comic readers. Allen the Alien is high up on the list of Invincible's most beloved characters; Allen is also among the few allies of Mark Grayson who survived to the end of the comic's run.
