The deal for a relatively small 33,000 square feet is a welcome morale-booster for landlord Tishman Speyer, which needs to replace the building’s largest tenant, Deloitte, when it leaves behind 430,000 square feet in late 2028. “It speaks to [Tishman Speyer CEO] Rob Speyer’s determination to keep the place relevant with new infrastructure, new retail tenants and public improvements,” said a brokerage source not involved at 30 Rock. “He has a lot of work ahead to fill the Deloitte space, but the Withers move reflects the property’s appeal to top-tier international users.
