Netflix is delivering a streaming slate you’ll hop to watching in April 2026, thanks to the fantastic films and specials that will stun you with intense tales, captivate you with incredible true stories, and so much more. Netflix is releasing two standout survival thriller films at different points of the month, with the hurricane and shark-infested movie Thrash earlier in April, and later down the line, the Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton-led title, War Machine, which are both poised to potentially land in the Netflix Top 10. Additionally, in the first half of the month, Netflix will debut some fascinating documentaries telling a multitude of engrossing stories, like the chess cheating scandal of Untold: Chess Mates, a heartwrenching tale of murder and remembrance in The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson, and the collapse of the talented early 2000s Portland Trail Blazers in Untold: Jail Blazers.
