Halloween 3: Season of the Witch is infamous precisely because it has almost nothing to do with the rest of the franchise. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is so disconnected from the previous Ant-Man movies that it seems the MCU forgot what made Ant-Man appealing in the first place. This thematic rebellion, combined with tonal shifts like meta humor that borders on Spaceballs, makes The Last Jedi feel like a deliberate disruption rather than a natural continuation of the saga.
